Raja Rahim (PhD Candidate, UF History) will discuss the history of suppressing Black athletes attempting to use their platform to promote social issues.

Solidarity Sessions is a discussion series presented by the Samuel Proctor Oral History Program in which professors, graduate students, and community organizers lead students in discussions on various issues concerning Black and Latinx communities.

Sponsored by the Samuel Proctor Oral History Program, UF Student Government, the NAACP, and the Hispanic Student Association.
