Learn more about the Center for the Humanities and Public Sphere’s new Public Humanities Internship Program for Ph.D. Students in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences for summer 2020. Each internship is a paid six-week .50 FTE Graduate Research Assistantship during the period of summer A. Ph.D. students will work on-site at non-profit organizations on projects that positively impact environmental, cultural, and educational sectors. Graduate students will expand their professional skillset and network while gaining meaningful humanistic work experiences beyond an academic setting.
Please join Dr. Kristen Galvin, Assistant Director for Graduate Engagement at the Center for the Humanities and Public Sphere, for an overview of the internship program’s guidelines; a discussion of diverse humanities career pathways in relation to the public good; and a Q&A session on the application process and/or individual partner organizations.
