UF Intersections: Ethics in the Public Sphere Poster Fair

FreeIn this capstone poster fair, students from across the UF Intersections on Ethics in the Public Sphere fall 2019 course cluster will present posters reflecting their group research and analysis of the ethical dimensions of contemporary public issues. Courses represented include: Feminist Philosophy (PHM3123), Philosophy of Education (PHM3600), Sustainability and Religion (REL2071), Religion and Food (REL3108), and Ethics in America (REL3171). Poster topics will include gender equity, sustainability, food, immigration, race, education reform, and religious pluralism.
Student poster presentations are scheduled throughout the day, and student posters will be available for viewing all day. All poster fair participants and visitors are invited to participate in voting for the “Audience Choice” award for best poster, and a second award will be given for “Professors’ Choice” of best poster. Come to explore how we can tackle complex issues in our communities, teach ethics across the curriculum, and learn more about the experiences of being an Intersections Scholar in Ethics in the Public Sphere.
The event is free and open to all UF students, faculty, staff, and members of the public.
