The Worlds of Ursula K. Le Guin

Smather’s Library and the English Department would like to invite you to the Gainesville screening of the internationally Award-winning documentary, “The Worlds of Ursula K. Le Guin” on April 4th 2019, in Smathers 100 from 3:30-6:30. The documentarian/filmmaker Arwen Curry will be present to answer questions after the screening.

Ursula K. Le Guin passed away in January, 2018, after winning the National Book Foundation’s Life-time Achievement Medal in 2014; a published poet, novelist, short-story writer and essayist, Le Guin defied conventions and genres to make a truly unique oeuvre, often named the most important voice in 20th century literature.
