Karelisa Hartigan Lecture Series Celebrating 200 Years of Modern Greece

The first lecture will be by Prof. Dr. Werner Rieß, Professor and Chair of the Department of Ancient History at the University of Hamburg, and former professor at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Prof. Rieß has been a long-standing friend of the Department of Classics, and we are looking forward to his lecture on Draco, the first lawgiver of Athens.
