Dr. Amalia Dragani, an Italian anthropologist, is a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Global Fellow funded through the European Union. She will be spending her fellowship between the University of Florida and KU Leuven in Belgium. She holds a PhD in Social Anthropology from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences sociales in Paris, and she has published extensively about her research in the Sahel, particularly on Tuareg poetry.
