Since 2012, the Tedder and Rothman Doctoral Summer Fellowships—generously funded by the Tedder Family Endowment and the Robert and Margaret Rothman Endowment for the Humanities—have provided crucial support to doctoral students conducting original research across a wide range of humanities disciplines. These fellowships help defray the costs of research-related travel, archival work, and other expenses, enabling recipients to make meaningful progress on their dissertations during the summer months. The 2025 cohort of fellows represents the breadth and vitality of humanities scholarship at the University of Florida, with projects that often cross disciplinary boundaries and engage with pressing social, cultural, and historical questions. We are proud to support these emerging scholars and extend our heartfelt congratulations to this year’s recipients!
