The movable book project is a long-term project to support curious makers in their research on movable and pop-up books in our Rare and Baldwin Historic Children’s Book Collection.
Archive of Haitian Religion and Culture: Collaborative Research and Scholarship on Haiti and the Haitian Diaspora

Description: The Archive of Haitian Religion and Culture, “The Vodou Archive”, collects cultural artefacts from Haiti and its Diaspora for free public access.
“Look at the Water Coming!” — Remembering the 1896 Hurricane in Florida and Imagining the Storms to Come
The storymap “Look at the Water Coming!” — Remembering the 1896 Hurricane in Florida and Imagining the Storms to Come is an interdisciplinary public humanities project led by five UF faculty and supported by graduate students. Developed as part of the Mellon Foundation-supported Coasts, Climates, the Humanities, and the Environment Consortium (CCHEC), the project integrates archival research and public engagement to model humanities-informed responses to environmental challenges.
