Megan Leroy

Dr. Megan Leroy received her Ph.D. in the Department of English at the University of Florida researching the intersection of 20th Century American women’s poetry and historic women’s domestic manuals. She is an award-winning writing instructor who has taught multiple courses in Rhetoric/Composition, Argument, Technical Writing, American Literature, and Public Speaking. She was previously the Coordinator for the University of Florida’s Center for Children’s Literature and Culture where she researched children’s poetry and constructed a new web resource on fairy tales. Her interests include women’s poetry, children’s poetry, 20th Century American literature, cultural studies, and gender studies.
