How to Be an Antiracist – Ibram Kendi

November 21, 2019 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Free

Dr. Ibram Kendi’s visit to Gainesville culminates in this public lecture about his new book.  The New York Times calls How to be an Antiracist “the most courageous book to date on the problem of race in the Western mind.”  Part memoir and part political guidebook, this work asks us all to confront our own biases as the author does.

Sponsored by College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (Rothman Family Chair in the Humanities), Bob Graham Center for Public Service, Department of History (Gus Burns Memorial Fund), Office of the Chief Diversity Officer, Levin College of Law.

This event is free and open to the public.
