UF Intersections Public Ethics Panel: Immigration Reform

This community panel features local experts who will address immigration reform through religious, policy, and community efforts. After hearing from each speaker, participants will have the opportunity to engage the panelists and each other in a civil discussion about how Gainesville can respond to the immigration crisis, and specifically whether Gainesville should become a sanctuary city for undocumented immigrants facing deportation. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.

Moderator: Alexandra Cenatus, Center for the Humanities and the Public Sphere

Panlists: Rev. Larry Green; Adrian Hayes-Santos (Gainesville City Commission); Herman Younger (UF’19, Dreamer); possible additional panelist TBD.
