Digital Humanities Graduate Programs Coordinator
As a graduate assistant, Marcelino plays a role in planning, managing, promoting, and evaluating Digital Humanities initiatives by utilizing CHPS resources to develop networking and professional opportunities, strengthening accessibility to the existing initiatives, managing the Digital Humanities resources website, and engaging faculty and students with the Center's mission.
He also aims to bring the University's AI initiatives to the Center to develop digital humanities projects, such as the opening of the Department of Humanities Lab for humanities researchers interested in big data, AI, augmented reality, and overall digital tools.
He is a Philosophy PhD student and his current research explore the limits and strengths of using Algorithmic Statistical Evidence to justify the allocation of burdens and benefits to individuals.
